Energy saver light bulbs use less energy, with the same amount of light. These help the environment because they use less energy and they are cheaper to run.

Water tanks are designed to catch rain water and use it for showers and watering the back yard. They work by hooking them up to the gutters and the rain water rushes down and fills them up. They hold up to thousands of litres.

Wind turbines get electric energy from kinetic energy. There are two different types of turbines/mills. The “wind mill gets its energy mechanically by crushing stones or turning water and the difference of a windmill is that it only does wind.

Solar panels collect solar radiation from the sun and actively convert that energy to electricity. Solar panels are comprised of several individual solar cells. Other factors that affect the output of solar panels are weather conditions, shade caused by obstructions to direct sunlight, and the angle and position at which the solar panel is installed. Solar panels function the best when placed in direct sunlight, away from obstructions that might cast shade, and in areas with high regional solar isolation ratings.

In my house I have all 5 star energy appliances. Starting with the fridge, dishwasher, dryer, T.V, microwave. Your probably wondering how I get power and electricity, the solar panels give me electricity And the wind turbine give me energy. I occasionally take a trip in town and stock up on food, my main food is fish, I fish every Tuesday.
