Is YouTube Useful in Education? YES!  Do you want to educate your students on current events?  Do you want educational songs or riddles?  Do you want a lecture on physics?  Do you want YOUR lecture on the internet?  Do you want to show your students natural disasters?  Do you want to show your students scenes from Shakespeare’s plays? YouTube IS THE ANSWER!!!

What is YouTube known for?  Educational Videos  Current Event Videos  Music Videos  Informational Videos  Any type of video you want!  Discussing videos  Sharing Videos  Simple Search Engine  Organized Categories

Is YouTube Safe?  Make your videos public or private-its your choice!  Choose only specific people to view your videos.  Choose to approve the comments made about your video.  “Nudity, graphic violence, or hate” are forbidden from YouTube.  Anyone can mark a video “inappropriate” & YouTube will check  You can change filter options, making it appropriate for your students’ age group.
