Striped Dolphin

Migration patterns The dolphins live in warmer waters. They mainly live in Mediterranean Sea, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and in the northern Gulf of Mexico.

Characteristics blue/dark-grey and white stripes and blazes body length is 2.4 m, 130-140kg’s for males and 2.2 m, 110-120kg’s for females. Slimmer body shape combined with long beak, which is separated from their forehead, and they have a curved dorsal fin.

Food The Striped Dolphin can dive up to 700 meters to hunt deep water species, it usually eats fish, squid, octopus, krill, and other sea creatures.

habitat The striped dolphins habitat is anywhere the water is over 20°C some examples of its habitat is Mediterranean Sea, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
