Nigeria By: Matthew Rollason

Climate and Terain Climate in Nigeria is equatorial in south, tropical in center, arid in north. The terrain in Nigeria is mainly hills and plateaus in the south, mountains in the southeast, and plains in the north.

Rivers, Lakes, and Oceans The Niger River is a well known river in Nigeria. The ocean that touches Nigeria is the Atlantic Ocean.

Plants and Animals Some of the most famous animals in Nigeria are cheetahs, warthogs, jackals, and elephants. Some common types of plants in Nigeria are Meliaceae, Leguminosae, and Moraceae.

Environmental Issues Some Environmental issues in Nigeria is soil degradation, deforestation, air and water pollution, desertification, oil pollution, water, air, and soil. suffered damage from oil spills, loss of land, urbanization are some environmental issues.
