TOOL’s All Seeing Eye By: Taylor Hudson

Background of TOOL Is a very successful band of the late 90s an o the early 2000s. Has three albums as of right now and may possibly make a reunion album. Many songs are about the cleansing and evolution of humanity and passing into the afterlife. Ænema and Sober are the most popular of their songs. Are very satiric in their lyrics and believe very much in the freedom to speech.

What Is The Purpose Of The Image?

The Purpose I saw the purpose of the image as being a symbol of the fact that everyone's errors are seen by someone else and that they will get what comes around to them. The purpose is also to show how people are oblivious to the fact that someone knows that they did wrong.

What Does Taking Off The Name Do The The Picture?

Taking Off The Name Taking off the name of the cover makes the picture just seem like a creepy picture but the name TOOL makes the image have more of a purpose to those who know who TOOL are.

What Is The Focal Point Of The Image?

The Focal Point The focal point is the iris o the eye because it is the only color besides for the white part on the eye and is split on the eye into two different pieces.

What Is the Logical Appeal to The Image?

The Logical Appeal to the Image The logical appeal is that this is the All Seeing Eye and that what the eye symbolizes in different cultures. In more modernized beliefs, the eye represents jealousy and corruption, which is what the band Tool mainly sings about in their songs.

What Is the Ethical Appeal To The Image?

The Ethical Appeal The ethical appeal is the Tool logo a the top of the image. This gives credibility to the image for fans of Tool and gives relevance to the eye.

What Is The Emotional Appeal To The Image?

The Emotional Appeal The emotional appeal is sadness and depression that is evoked by the darkness of the image besides for the colors o the foreground.
