Traditional Chinese medicine BY ROSIE AND SIAN

What is traditional Chinese medicine made of What is traditional Chinese medicine made of ? What did the ingredients in the medicines do? The Chinese medicines were made out of a range of different herbs and plants such as Foti, Garlic, Ginger, Green tea, Liquorice Reishi, Dong Quai and many more. Green Tea can reduce the chances of having cancer and having ten cups of tea a day was needed to make a difference in your health. Ginger has been used to treat vomiting, coughing and many more.

What is Traditional Chinese medicine? Traditional Chinese medicine is a complete medical system used to prevent or treat illnesses, diseases and pains and has been around for over 2,000 years. It is based on the belief of Ying and Yang and when in balance of Ying and Yang it makes you feel relaxed and energised.

How did they use there medicines ? How did they rely on their medicines? They used traditional Chinese medicine to heal allergies, colds, asthma, sore throat, vomiting, coughing, sleep disorders and many more and can also can help in spirit, body, mind, emotional and social wellbeing. They relied on their medicines greatly by natural remedies like: Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical treatment. It helps people who have pain or a disease. It is most often used to relieve long lasting pain. The treatment is supposed to balance the life forces that flow through the body. Massage With traditional Chinese medicine pain indicates that qi is blocked or stuck.. Chinese massage nurtures your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing and the main focus is to increase your wellbeing by enhancing the flow of qi (vital energy)

Why were traditional Chinese Medicines created different to other countries? How has migration played a part? Chinese medicines are created differently to other countries because they require a full observation of the human body to determine the pain [physical check] but the western medical practises determine things by an overall observation of the body. [x-ray]. The Chinese also used herbs, massage and acupuncture but the western medical practises used pills and drugs. When the Chinese came over to Australia (mainly during the gold rush) most of the medicines were brought over and when it finished they stayed. Research groups were then formed to find more about how to make the western medical practises better.

Focus question Traditional Chinese medicine has influenced the western medical practises by bringing and teaching different types of medicine to western doctors that is a possibly a better way to heal patients. Chinese medicine can be used to cure long lasting pains, deep pains or ill sicknesses and diseases.
