Schoolwires Webpage Training Argyle ISD Presented by Amy Ball

Before you get started think about: What do I want to put on my webpage? How do I want my parents and students to use it? How often will I update it? What are the requirements of my campus?

What do I put on my webpage? Ideas Spelling List Newsletter Homework Assignments/Homework Policy Week at a Glance Upcoming Dates Link to Lunch Menu Vocabulary A Day in the Life/Schedule Class Rules Links to textbooks Course Outline/Lesson Plans

How often will I update it? What you put on your site will determine how often you need to update it. Check with your campus to see specific requirements. Please keep in mind that once you tell your parents that you update it weekly, they will check it weekly.

Please Remember: You need to have permission from parents to put student’s work, pictures, and even names on the website. Not everyone has access to the internet at home, so make sure you think of families that can’t use your website.
