Why? To provide advanced skating terrain for skateboarders of all ages. To provide advanced skating terrain for skateboarders of all ages. The ESM Skatepark was specifically designed for beginning and intermediate skateboarders. It has no advanced terrain! was specifically designed for beginning and intermediate skateboarders. A crowded skatepark is unsafe! Based on a national survey* 16% of the total US population between 5 and 24 years of age rides a skateboard. We are here tonight to ask the Parks, Natural Areas and Recreation Board (Board) to consider a partnering proposal In this partnering relationship the Board would make an initial commitment toward expanding and improving the existing skateboarding facility. Partnering Proposal This partnering relationship would be very similar to the partnering relationship between the Board and the Corvallis (Avery) Rose Society.
