Introduction Situated just off Holland Park Roundabout, the SE Interchange aluminium clad site encompasses a range of high-profile advertising opportunities. The main feature of this site is the 3 x LED digital screens facing Holland Park Roundabout targeting traffic from the main arterial A40 and Central London. Numerous pedestrians using either the central line station or the over-ground station will also be in the vicinty creating a large target audience.

Facts & Figures sheet Digital Screens Each display screen size is 12m wide x 3m high Total display area is 108 square metres Each LED screen display resolution is 768 x 192 pixels Full colour static LED technology Export files as.BMP rather than.JPEG. BMP stores each pixel so it is a better representation of the original image.JPEG compresses and averages out pixels

Provision of Content for the screens How to achieve the best results: Generate the content as near to the native resolution of the final display as possible Keep the initial picture resolution low – The lower the initial picture resolution, the less resizing is necessary = better for LED screens (unlike for print) Final LED display is only 1.5DPI compared to 300DPI on print USING PHOTOSHOP Use all sharpness controls or image enhancements provided Use the full working limits of the signal – E.g. Text with white at 90% is more visible than at 60% - better contrast Apply sharpness AFTER resizing to make the edges stronger Add the text AFTER resizing the image so the text remains pin sharp Keep text to good size – characters below 8-10 pixels will be illegible. If you use Black on the display use ABSOLUTE BLACK only Use strong colours only as it allows the LED to look its be st

Visuals YES NO TEXT NEEDS TO BE THIS SIZE AND CLARITY NOT THIS SIZE

Frequency The most effective use of the digital screens has been seen to work along the following mechanism: – Slots are sold on each screen in 10 second slots – These slots are within a 40 second loop – The slots will be sold across a lunar two week cycle On a bespoke basis time scales can always be considered – day-parts Total ownership of all 3 screens is also possible, or each screen can be bought separately.
