Up next – Human Services Current Operations – 8 USAR teams are being deployed from FEMA 1753 patients evacuated from 37 health care facilities Evacuating hospitals, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and hospice facilities. 10 DMATs on alert; 3 on standby in Atlanta; 7 on alert at home base Unmet Needs – Patients still requiring evacuation in some hospitals. Air operations were shut down due to deteriorating weather conditions Future Operations – Evacuating the patients requiring ground transportation Establish possible resources needed on standby Staffing of special needs shelters

Human Services

Current Operations – 200+ trucks of water, 230 trucks of ice are staged l Water and ice vendors alerted and provided a projection of needs LSA teams on standby, LSA 1 temporarily suspended until storm passes. Negotiating with USDA on baby food and add. Commodities Coordinating with ARC and TSA on Mass Care requirements Status of shelters (ARC) on standby, Non-ARC shelters opening is some counties Host shelter operations in a number of counties authorized (#291) Prepared to bring in facilities to serve 1 million meals/day- travel/set up time after storm Americorps staffing Volunteer and Donations hotline: FLHELP1

Human Services Current Operations (continued) – Regional Recovery Center temporarily closed after COB today (located at Florida Fairgrounds (Tampa) 4800 N. U.S. Hwy 301). Volunteer Reception Center located at:1301 Cattleman Road, Sarasota, FL Contacting support agencies for inventory and staging Animal export/import restrictions modified to facilitate evacuation/return Animal shelter and housing identified at: Unmet Needs – Shortage of shelter staff Getting requests already for pre-positioning food/water/ice/feeding//comfort station on hold till storm passes- then resources will be deployed based upon need and availability

Human Services Up next – Infrastructure Future Operations – Work to fill shelter staff shortage Utilize State and eligible local governmental employees in shelter operations through the Disaster Leave Law Support comfort stations, feeding sites, etc. once set up Monitor inventories of water and ice Prepare for volunteer and donation participation Conference calls held daily with Florida Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (collaborations with VOLAGS statewide) Coordinate move large animal to out-of-state shelters Preparing to support animal issues - most shelters already full ARF- 120M sq feet of tarp & plastic covering

Military Support

Up next – Logistics Military Support Current Operations – ESF 13, 5 and logistics manned. Command and control cells activated statewide FLNG HQs EOC operational. Approximately 1500 soldiers/airmen on duty. EMAC support coordination ongoing. (Aviation, engineering and humanitarian support missions) Coordinating with NGB and DOD for additional assets. Unmet Needs – None at this time Future Operations – Units continue to report to armories. Posturing to be on scene immediately after impact. and conduct recon, security, humanitarian missions.
