Lesson 1- A Look at the Back of the Book The Bible is the story of the battle between good and evil. Global Center for Christian Development ~The devil will be thrown into the lake of fire forever. (Revelation 20:2, 10) In the end we see that good wins and evil loses.

Lesson 1- A Look at the Back of the Book Global Center for Christian Development The Book of Acts, which is God’s training manual for today’s church, shows the triumphant story of the birth and growth of the Church despite evil and persecution.

Lesson 1- A Look at the Back of the Book What Does Amen Mean? Global Center for Christian Development The definition of amen is, “let it be so.” The word amen is used to express our willingness to be obedient and proves we are in agreement with the speaker. The word amen also implies that something is finished.
