Shuttleworth Project Grade 7 Pic of the International Space Station with permission FAIS site

Shuttleworth Project Groups 1,2,& 3  South African Mark Shuttleworth is about to become the first South African to go into space.  Find out who he is, and how it is that he is able to do so.  Develop a web site which provides this background information as well as a daily log of his adventures.  Design a strategy which enables your group to research and develop your site efficiently  Use any resources you can find. Start with magazines, the www and newspapers.

Assessment  I will be looking for –Good web design characteristics  Effective use of pics, text, links etc. –Evidence of effective research –Evidence of reading, comprehension, summarizing, synthesising –Effective group work –Referencing –Imagination!
