Its location The climate Fauna and flora Landscape

Its location Timanfaya’s National Park is part of Spain. It is located in Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. HERE!

The climate The climate in Timanfaya is very dry. It rains from time to time. Lanzarote has a tropical climate (not very hot, not very cold). But, the hottest area is the Timanfaya’s one. You can see that the hottest area is the one painted in brown, Timanfaya’s territory!

Fauna and flora Because of the difficult weather conditions, there are almost no vertebrate animals in this part of the Canary Islands. Anyway, we can find rabbits, lizards, etc.

Fauna and flora Timanfaya is a volcanic park, so the flora in this region is very limited, because of some small volcanoes wich are still active. There are no trees in Timanfaya because of the weather condicions, but there is a typical bush in this region called “El Salado Blanco”.

Landscape Timanfaya has a volcanic landscape. And it has still some small active volcanoes. And also some geyseres.
