Who are Penderels Trust? We are one of the providers recognised by South Gloucestershire Council to support to anyone choosing to have a Direct Payment. We are a leading provider of advice and guidance to people with disabilities. We have been supporting people for 25 years. We are charity, a user-led organisation and our board of trustees are individuals with a disability or are carers. We are currently working in about 30 local authority areas offering Direct Payment Support, Appointeeships, Support Planning and other services.

The Process A Social Worker will make an assessment to see if an individual is eligible for assistance from Adult Social Care services If the individual wants a Direct Payment and chooses our support service a Referral is sent to Penderels Trust An Independent Living Adviser (ILA) contacts the Client to organise Initial Visit to discuss needs and outcomes/how we can support

Initial Visit Responsibilities when receiving Direct Payments (Record keeping, being a legal employer, contracts, H&S and insurance) Alleviate concerns Finalise budget
