Estimated lifetime energy savings $12.14M. $11.6M net savings to District.  Environmental benefits annually:  Eliminate 22.4M kg of nitrous oxides (NOx)  Eliminate 12.6M kg of sulfurous oxides (SOx)  Eliminate 0.84M kg of other particulates  Eliminate 1.4 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2)  Also bank Renewable Energy Credits (REC’s) with an estimated value of $165K. 2
