Camera Picture Size 1. Check Picture Size of camera Pictures. 2. If picture size is 3 – 5 MB each or higher. Lower settings on camera to 1 – 2 MB each. 3. Consult Camera Manual on where to change the resolution and settings to lower picture size.
Open PowerPoint and Select ‘Insert’ Tab Click ‘Photo Album’
Click ‘File/Disk’
Browse for the pictures you want. ‘Select all’ the pictures you want at the same time. Click ‘Insert’.
Change ‘Picture Layout’ to either ‘1 or 2 picture with title’ & Check the box for ‘Captions below All Pictures’. Click ‘Create’.
You will get slides auto generated with either 1 or 2 pictures on each slide with Captions underneath them. At this point tweak and create anything else you want and then save before compressing.
Save PowerPoint first before checking the size. Click ‘File’ and Look for the ‘Size’ In test I created, it has 9 Slides with Pictures for reference.
Double Click a Picture in one of the slides in your PowerPoint presentation.
When you double click a picture, the Picture Tools ‘Format’ tab will appear. Find the ‘Compress Pictures’ button. Click on the ‘Compress Pictures’ button.
De-Check “Apply Only to this Picture” Select – “ (96 ppi): Minimize…” Click Ok and Save Powerpoint.
Re-Check ‘Size’ of PowerPoint. Should be reduced and ready to .
