Adult volunteers are needed for various committee and den leadership activities. Please help “Make the Pack Go!” See Chris Miller to volunteer. Many positions require just 1-2 hours per month. It's that time again,… This is where we need all of your participation. Moms and Dads, we don't have all the great ideas (believe it or not) on what to do through out the year, so the Pack needs your input and help. Make your voices heard, now is the time. Here is what we currently have planned for the remainder of 2009 Scouting year: April - Kite building and flying and Rain Gutter Regatta (Saturday April 25, 2009) May – Astronomy Day (May 2 Harper College) June - Family Camp Out (Saturday June 13, 2009) July - Concert in the Park (traditionally has been) August - Open September - Fall Mixer October - Open November - Open December - Christmas Party January Open February Pinewood Derby March - Open April - Open (and we plan for the next Scouting Year)

They are a great time, a great value, and a great opportunity for the Scouts to complete rank and award requirements. May Pack Activity – Astronomy Harper College Astronomy Day provided by the Northwest Suburban Astronomers. Explore the wonders of the universe... see the moon, stars and galaxies! Rain or shine the Northwest Suburban Astronomers group will host an informative and entertaining celebration of astronomy. If the skies are clear, telescopes will be available for viewing and variety of celestial objects. NSA members will be on hand to answer any questions and conduct general tours of the night sky. Inside the school will be a wide variety of shows, -Demonstrations, and exhibits -Telescopes on Display -Campus Observatory -Planetarium Dome -Astronomy Lectures -Displays and Photographs -Projects for Children * We will 6:30pm
