Pirates By Mrs. Lewis’ Third Grade Class

Our class decided to do a PowerPoint presentation on pirates. In our Social Studies Weekly, we studied about pirates and wanted to learn more about them.

The most famous pirate of them all was Blackbeard. Blackbeard’s blockade of Charleston is remembered as Blackbeard’s craziest adventure. He captured eight ships in the harbor and kept all the people aboard as hostages. Jacob

Anne Bonny was from Charles Town. She grew up with her wealthy father on a big plantation. Anne did not like living on the plantation because she was too adventurous for this boring life. Bonnie
