GA 2012 Fleet, GdR, 22 Nov Dinghies General: centreboard/rudder repairs on most dinghies, trolley repairs, halyard replacements Laser1 (Castor 2011, Pollux 2011, Photon 2012*) –New boats ! In good condition. Used often, including internal and external regattas. Laser2 (Charm 1991, Beauty 1991) –Hull of Beauty repaired last winter (JK), Hulls in good condition now –New jibs –Should last for some years to come RS500 (Rising Star 2008, Rocket Science 2009) –New sails bought Xenon (HiggX 2007) 2

GA 2012 Fleet, GdR, 22 Nov Dinghies RS400 (Rolling Stone 2004) –New sails bought ISO (Isospin 1995) –Extensive hull repair done last winter (Jan Kovermann) –Needed: full new sails, trolley that fits –Getting worn out: might want to start looking at a replacement in a few years 3

GA 2012 Fleet, GdR, 22 Nov Catamarans SL16 (Catapult 2008) –2 sets of sails available –Cover needs replacement Hobie Tiger (Meerkat ) –Small leaks on hulls: repaired –Dagger boards suffering from ground encounters (new needed in 1- 2 years ?) –2 sets of sails available 4

GA 2012 Fleet, GdR, 22 Nov Keelboats Yngling (Vas-Y 1974, J’Y Vais 2002, Y-me? 2003) –Hull maintenance by Durr, Rigging maintenance by YCC –Vas-Y needs a mast foot repair (old wooden support) Surprise (Mic Mac 1986, Mamma Mia 2009) –Ordered two new gauge compliant spinnaker to replace very old sails that we had in daily use. –Standard only the gauge spinnaker on board. –3 months dry out on land each winter –Mic Mac: Osmosis protection and anti-fouling were applied. Professional hull treatment is scheduled for this winter The electric wiring was redone and the boat was equipped with a genoa furling system. –Mamma Mia: Forestay repaired 5

GA 2012 Fleet, GdR, 22 Nov Keelboats GibSea 264 (Gibsy ) –Electricity restored, New instrumentation –Keel mechanism maintained and improved (LD) –Many leaks this year, many repaired (LD): need a professional inspection to decide on what to do next –Should be put 3 months on dry this winter 6
