The Worlds Best Hockey Goalie BY: CHARLIE SEIDEL

Patrick T. Wanser Patrick T. Wanser also known as “the ace” was the worlds best goalie in hockey ever, setting records all over the world he was called the ace because of all the amazing saves he made. For 9 games he didn`t let in 1 goal. His SV% was a 95.9 and his GAA was a 1.6. as you can see he was great at hockey.

Where the ace was born and grew up Patrick T. Wanser was born in Canada and moved to Detroit when he was 3. he was born in the Alberta hospital which is located In Canada. He lived in a mansion in Detroit. In Canada he lived in a normal house when he was 5 he was on his very first hockey team. He would watch hockey games and study how professionals saved. He ended up being best at butterfly. In 1840 he made it onto the redwings.

Patrick’s Story One day the redwings where vs. the Boston bruins. The Bruins had a player nobody could save so Patrick was nervous. In the first period it was 3-0 Bruins. Then Patrick got the feeling and in the second period it was already 2-3 still bruins lead. Last period it was 3-3 and there were 3 seconds left and there best player Julian Silverman was on a break away he was getting ready for a slap shot and boom it as fast a bullet but Patrick was ready for it and he blocked it and the redwings won in overtime.
