UMR Update  Fall 2006 Enrollment is 5,858  4.6% increase over last year  26.6% increase over Fall 2000  46% increase in African-American students since FS2000  136% increase in Hispanic-American students since FS2000  977 First-time Freshmen  third largest incoming class in UMR history  23% female (largest number of total female enrollment since 1984)  average ACT score is 27.2 (upper 10% of the nation)  600 underrepresented students (UMR record high)
