Data Analysis Enter data with 100% accuracy Format Cells

Enter Excel A university student is living away from home for the first time and they want to make sure that they budget the limited amount of money they will have. They are going to create a spreadsheet model. Load the spreadsheet software Excel Enter the details

Enter data into Spreadsheet

Formula in cells Insert formula in the cell under Income per week Write in Formula field or By clicking in cells Formula is =b4/c4

Copy formula Do the same for Income per week for Part time job Or copy the formula from the cell above. Use the cross in lower right corner and drag down to next cell In cell D7 (Total income per week) enter the formula =d4+d5 to get the total

Format cells Just right click on the cell that you want to format Choose your category and do the settings Remember that there will be different way of copy and paste

Fill data and formula Different way with the same outcome Prefer number 2 cause Formula can be copied Copy to cells below

Finalize spreadsheet Mark the cells in the column Use autoSum Or write the formula The difference in Green cell The amount in yellow – amount in red Formula =D7-D18
