Introduction Social Impact Monitoring (SIM): social condition Vulnerability Assessment (VA): social vulnerability Objective: to establish social impact indicators that reflect current socio-economic conditions and the extent of people’s dependence on water resources Water quality monitoring and ecological monitoring Monitoring: – Identify any significant changes in people’s dependence on water resources – Serve as an indicator of any potentially significant social impacts – Serve as the need for precautionary measure
