What we are going to cover Teacher Access CourseLink Accessing the main menu and logging in. Understanding each of the functions from the main menu. The aim of the session is to provide you with a working knowledge of each of the main functions of Teacher Access CourseLink and how you can utilise them for counselling purposes.

New CourseLink Functions New CourseLink functions for 2014/15 include : A registration column to be added to the Student Data summary screen. Updates to the language to ensure a clear understanding of the information presented in the Overall School Statistics report in School Data. Students who have withdrawn their school enrolment to be removed in line with the VCAA schedule.

Logging In Go to Select the CourseLink icon. Select VCE and VCAL Careers Practitioners only

Main menu – Student data After confirming your address you will see the main menu and a welcome message

Main menu: Student data To access the list of students at your school go to Student data.

Student Data Screen Review the status of each individual at a glance. Sort by any of the headings i.e. have they registered, applied or paid. Select the name and go to that student’s file.

Creating Sample VCE Program

Search parameters Step 4: Search parameters, ATAR, Location, Area of Interest. Step 5: Click on Search for courses that satisfy prerequisite studies based on study program after entering parameters

Search Results Example Search parameters entered: ATAR 70 (optional) All institutions Interest area chosen: Natural Physical Sciences Course results based on selected VCE/VET studies and parameters entered. Course names linked to CourseSearch program and selection data from last year.

Account Management

Archived Data Contains all of the student data from previous cohorts in an excel spreadsheet. Can access student preferences, offers, enrolments and ATAR. Can filter for the information you are looking for and is useful for providing reports.
