* Lithosphere is the crust and the rigid part of the Earths mantels. * Pangaea is the theory of the super continent. * Plate tectonics are broke into several plates under the Earths surface. * Volcanism is volcanic activity. * Continental drift is the slow movement of the continents. * Lithosphere ranges in thickness from km.

Hydrosphere is the part of Earth that contains water. The water cycle is the continuous movement of water between the Earths surface and air. Precipitation is water that falls from clouds to the ground in forms of rain, sleet, and snow. Aquifers are underground areas of rock and soil. The hydrosphere includes all water. 20,000 years ago the sea level was approx. 120 meters lower than it is today.

* Atmosphere is the layer of gases that surrounds Earth. * The relationship between pressure and height is that it would be the same as each other. * The layers of the atmosphere are troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere. * Ozone layer is made of a special form of oxygen gas. * Water vapor and dust are also part of the Earths atmosphere. * The atmosphere of Earth is made up of three main gases.

* Biosphere is the living things on Earth. * Components is a constituent part, element, ingredient. * The food chain is a continuation of food energy from one organism to another. * Ecosystems is living and nonliving things in an area interacting. * The Biosphere also includes dead things. * It can also be called the zone of life on Earth.

* The atmosphere involves all living things because it contains oxygen. * Rainfall often increases after volcanic eruption, which stimulates plant growth. * When a volcano erupts is when the lithosphere and the atmosphere interact. * Interaction of the hydrosphere and the lithosphere increase erosion of loose soil. * The hydrosphere interacts with the other sphere by providing water nutrients to living things. * When the water evaporates it raises into the air.
