Welcome to ESL SSE, Inc.’s ELL Manager 2.0v2 Advance between slides with a click on the mouse

Welcome to the ELL Manager 2.0v2, a cloud based data base program designed to interface with a district’s student management system to import ELL student’s demographic data and testing results (STAAR & TELPAS) and then provide over 100 Reports, Exhibits, & Counts filled and ready to print. The ELL Manager will take the paperwork burden off of your staff’s shoulders giving them more time to teach and program directors the information they need to properly manage their programs.

The System Navigation Screen Allows you to navigate easily to different parts of the system. Let’s first go to “View Student Info”

Student’s Demographic Data Tab The Navigation Tool Bar Student schedules which are very helpful for secondary students A section for Basic Student Information A student’s Core & Special Teachers/Staff Click on the blue “?“ for Help Keep a paper trail of parent contact of notes.

Dates & Years Residence Tab A list of suggested LPAC Dates for the year can be added by the Program director

Exit & Monitoring Tab A “Thumb Nail” Monitoring Report Student Program or Placement Change Report P = Pass all subjects 1 = Fail 1 Subject 2 = Fail 2 Subjects 3 = Fail 3 Subjects 4 = Fail 4 Subjects NA= Does not apply

STARR, TAKS, & TELPAS Testing Status This information is filled out Automatically when the LPAC fills out the STAAR Participation & Linguistic Accommodation form See next slide for a description of the Assessment Report

The LPAC’s Testing Assessment and Accommodations Report for Testing Coordinators Note that there are data fields for each Linguistic Accommodation that a student can have. These accommodations are decided by the LPAC during the student’s mid-year LPAC and entered in each student’s Linguistic Accommodation report. This report can be printed with a LPAC signature block and used as the mid-year LPAC minutes.

End of Year Student Placement This Tab allows you to enter the students End-of- Year data which allows for the creation of special reports for counselors, etc. for next school year.

Now the ELL Manager starts to work for you. You now have over 100 Reports & Exhibits filled out and ready to print or export. The full power of the program is now at your fingertips. You and your staff no longer have to fill out LPAC forms or dig through files looking for data, the ELL Manager has it ready for you. The Reports & Exhibits section is divided into four parts: The Reports & Exhibits Menu

The all Important LPAC Exhibits. These are filled out by the program and are ready to print or file. You and your staff no longer have to spend days or weeks looking up data and filling out these reports by hand, it has been done for you! See the LPAC Exhibits power point for Exhibit details.
