CHILDREN AND DEVELOPMENT ACCESS TO EDUCATION

EDUCATION STATISTICS 72 million children denied the right to education globally  Over 50% live in Sub-Saharan Africa  More than 20% in South and West Asia  54% of children not attending school are girls  Numbers are decreasing but global development goals have not been achieved (FMECD, 2015)
