JULY-OCT 1776 THE BRITISH ATTACK AND TAKE NEW YORK

DEC , 1776 THE BATTLE OF TRENTON WASHINGTON CROSSES THE DELAWARE RIVER & DEFEATS THE HESSIAN FORCES

SEPT THE BRITISH TAKE PHILADELPHIA, BUT TO DO SO, THEY DON’T SEND REINFORCEMENTS UP TO NEW YORK.

SEPT-OCT 1777 AMERICA DEFEATS THE BRITISH AT SARATOGA (NY) CONSIDERED A TURNING POINT CAUSE FRANCE WILL NOW JOIN THE CAUSE FOR AMERICA.
