2 Step Wise Project Planning Prince 2 is the set of project management standards that have been published by the Central Computing and Telecommunication Agency (CCTA) for use on British Government Information Technology projects. Step Wise should be compatible with Prince 2. It should be noted, however, that Step Wise covers only planning stages of a project and not monitoring and control. 3 Project Planning The major principle of project planning is to plan in outline first and then in more detail as the time to carry out an activity approaches.

4 Step 0: Select Project This is called step 0 because it’s not in the main project process.
