Mini-Notebooks Everyone can have a Mini-notebook

Overview of the Mini/Net book Technology Utilizing the mini-notebook to streamline the technology for the district More flexible to move laptops from room to room than traditional laptops, and certainly desktops Expand the use of technology through the access to those applications on the web/servers Replace the cost and maintenance of the textbooks by loading the textbook copy onto the mini’s Ability to reach more students for less budget dollars.

Technology in this grouping Mini-Notebooks Netbooks Handhelds Smart phones eBooks Generally the mini-notebook is the most robust and has the most features for unit to interface with peripherals. The other units are listed by mobility/interface ratio. (Still mobile for the user, less interfaces)

Streamline the Technology Technology in an educational arena must coordinate with the classroom environment – Are you planning for a 1:1 program? or Are you planning for the technology in the 21 st Century Classroom? Easy to use, easy to learn, easy to own (lease or purchase) Mini-notebooks are offered at a cost savings, and are robust and strong for the audience they serve.
