To reach some greater understanding about education.  For this preparation assignment, you must write a question for each text. CLASSICAL EDUCATION SOCRATIC SEMINAR  Sit in a circle where you can make eye contact with everyone in the group.  Have your preparation assignments in front of you.  Check yourself to make sure you are maintaining a balance between talking and listening. You may certainly check others in the discussion as well.  Use your question stems when there is an awkward silence in the discussion.  Use quotes to support your arguments.  If you interrupt each other, remember to say “and what were you going to say, ?” after you finish.

Homework due Tuesday, Sept. 8th  Read and annotate your assigned virtue in Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics.
