The Digital Disconnect Levin, Arafeh, 2002  Students use the Internet all the time to complete their school work.  Teachers and schools have not acknowledged the new ways that students interact using the Internet.  Students have difficulty using the Internet in school due to poor access, blocking software, and lack of assignments designed to use the Internet.

Offering improved educational resources to increase student academic achievement. 3. Changing the nature of education. 4. Providing students with high tech skills to satisfy student, school, and business interests and needs.
