“Towards the Welfare and Happiness of Children and the Family in Latin America”

CRED-PRO IICRD CRED-PRO An initiative of the International Institute on Children’s Rights and Development (Victoria University, Victoria, BC, Canada)An initiative of the International Institute on Children’s Rights and Development (Victoria University, Victoria, BC, Canada) Supported by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human RightsSupported by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights

CRED-PRO IICRD CRED-PRO IICRDVision We imagine a world where the respect for the rights of all children is applied in professions and by professionals. Mission Training on children’s rights addressed to professionals (CRED-PRO) will serve at international level as an agent for change, working together with professions in order to promote a cultural change allowing for the implementation by practitioners of values, motivation, skills, and practices within the framework of such rights. Vision and Mission

CRED-PRO IICRD CRED-PRO IICRD Potential Cooperation with the IIN To establish an alliance with the IIN in order to create a large team working for the benefit of children’s rights in all sectors in Latin America. To cooperate in the development of a “clearing house” (an interregional database) of material on children’s rights for the use of professionals. To provide guidance and advice to other sectors for defining the application of the approach based on children’s rights in Social Practices. To work with the IIN on a formal basis.

CRED-PRO IICRD CRED-PRO IICRD CRED-PRO intends to change both our and others’ current perception of children’s rights by seeking for the greatest respect for and support to children’s rights in Latin America and worldwide. CRED PRO looks for an alliance with the IIN aimed to enhance its experience in the health sector and work with other professional areas, such as the judiciary, child protection, and education.
