Symbol Work & Sandplay Therapy in Systems Work with Mark Pearson & Helen Wilson

Systems Theory The goal is for a group to gain insight into each member’s role as it relates to the healthy functionality of the whole. Can be applied to organizations, couples, communities, or families. Relies on identifying specific behavior patterns and how each member responds to anxiety within the dynamic.

Systems Theory Family systems theory was developed by Dr Murray Bowen as a way to allow each family member to work together to solve individual issues. Every family member is connected to each other through a system of overlapping and intertwining relationships that can only be deciphered when all members work as one
