Recorder’s Checklist The recorder plays an integral part in making the workshop run smoothly. They will work hand in hand with the facilitator through the entire workshop process. The following pages organize the jobs of the recorder in three categories: 1.Prior to the Workshop 2.During the Workshop 3.After the Workshop

Prior to the Workshop 1. Learning to Use Mind Manager Software The three day workshop requires the recorder to have knowledge of Mind Manager Software. Prior to the workshop, the recorder should view and print the Mind Manager Instructions. The instructions can be viewed and printed by clicking on the button to the right. It is the responsibility of the recorder to learn this software prior to the JTA Workshop. Download Instructions Now What does Mind Manager software do? Mind Maps, also known as spiders, are a visual representation of information. In the JTA workshop, spiders are used to organize the job steps and sub steps involved in safely maintaining a piece of mining equipment. Mind Manager allows the recorder to create visual representations of these job steps and sub steps. Job Step Sub Step 1 Sub Step 2 Sub Step 3

A basic spider contains the spider title, main branches, and sub-branches. Once the spider is complete, the job steps will be imported into the final product, the completed task worksheet. Above is an illustration of a basic spider. Prior to the Workshop
