It will not be accepted after the 3 rd day.

CLASSROOM POLICIES Projects/Tests: Students may only make up a test/project if the original test/project score is a 69 or less, but it must be made up within 10 school days of receiving the original score. The students are only allowed to retest one time per assessment – with a maximum score of 70% Students earning a failing TEST/PROJECT grade will be required to attend mandatory tutoring for re- teaching of concepts and to discuss performance recommendations for remediation within 3 days of the failing grade posted.

Frequently Asked Questions Q- What do I do if I am absent from class? A- First- After you return to school bring absent note from parent/guardian to the front office. Second- Check classroom calendar and assignment folders for any assignment you missed while absent. Third- Copy Challenge questions from binder (on front of my desk) for the days you were absent. After attempting questions, check with me for any corrections needed. * Remember, you are quizzed every Friday over these questions. It is your responsibility to complete all missing work due to an absence.

Frequently Asked Questions Q- Do we have a lot of tests and quizzes? A- A- You have a weekly quiz every Friday in which you use your Challenge questions, class notes, vocabulary assigned and graded assignments from the week. Each Six Weeks has at least 2 scheduled test/projects grades. It may be a written test, a class presentation or a project assigned.

Frequently Asked Questions Q- How can I raise my grade? A- Test retakes, form a study group, review notebook Review guides Attend Tutorials (Tues/Thurs 3:35-4:15) Complete and turn in missing work within the 3 day grace period from original due date.
