Coyote Wild This coyote looks like he is just leaving his home in a field. Coyotes live in forests, deserts, mountains, prairies, suburbs, cities, even golf courses!

Coyote Trudging Through the Snow  This coyote looks like it is looking for a meal. Coyotes eat mice, voles, rabbits, insects, fish, frogs snakes, lizards, grass, and all sorts of dead animals.

Young but Handsome  This is a young coyote who looks like it might have heard something. He could have heard a predator, such as a wolf.

Week Old Pup  This young pup looks like it is alone and waiting for his mom to come home with his next meal. A female coyote can have from one to twelve pups in a litter.

Coyotes not Getting Along  These coyotes might be fighting over a mate. If a coyote chooses a mate, they stick with their mate for life.

Small but Pretty  This is a male coyote, you can tell by his size. Female coyotes are larger than males.

A Coyote Going Home  This coyote seems to be going home. Coyotes used to live only in prairies and farms in the USA.

Female Coyote This female coyote looks as if she is communicating with another coyote. Coyotes softly woof, growl, bark, and howl.
