Colleges and Universities complained about graduating seniors Business and Employment Community complained about graduating seniors Though not a state requirement, it is a requirement of Onslow County of all Seniors Yes, next year’s seniors will have to do the project. This project is not going away.

Paper - in English class Product - real, tangible, 15 hours of time Portfolio - notebook with the evidence Presentation - only minutes

Classmates, Parents, Friends GRAD Project Handbook Your Mentor English & Advisory Teachers START HERE GRAD Coordinator GRAD Project Help Every MONDAY Room 2:30pm

“GRAD Project wasn’t as hard as I thought. I spent too much time stressing about it” “Pick something you enjoy or have always wanted to try” “I think the senior project helped me to be more responsible”

Have all the same deadlines as year-long seniors except  Portfolio and Product due before Christmas Break; Presentations in JANUARY  You do weekly reflections instead of bi-weekly reflections  If you do not CLEAR ALL PARTS of GRAD Project by the end of 1 st semester, you will lose your “Early Grad” status and be scheduled for classes for 2 nd semester.
