Susan called her mentor this summer to share some important news. “Miss Arlene, you are the reason I’m going to be in 4 th grade this fall.” “Why do you say that, Susan?” asked the mentor. “Because if you hadn’t helped me with reading,” said Susan, “ I would have to do 3 rd grade again. Thank you for helping me.”
