RATIOS, PROPORTIONS AND PERCENTAGE

1. How can I use a proportion in my every-day life? 2. How much can I save in percentage terms? 3. How can I distinguish the different tri- dimensional figures?

The student will understand how ratios and proportions are useful to solve daily situations as well as the use of percentage and interest in real contexts. The student will identify the concepts of Tri- Dimensional figures and the construction of its views.

Percentage: Rename from Fractions and Decimals to percentages and vice versa. Find a Percentage of a Number. Percentage and Applications. Geometry: Tri-dimensional Figures, Classifying Solids, Counting Faces, Edges and Vertices, Draw Views of Three Dimensional Figures. Proportions: Simple and Compound Rule of Three, Simple Interest.

IS THAT ENOUGH MONEY? First Presentation: From September 22 nd to 26 th Students will described the different kind of roulettes are in order to choose the best that fixes to the project requirements.

Second Presentation: From October 21 st to 27 th Through the explanations made by the teacher, and once the group had chosen the roulette design, they will begin the construction of it in order to made a tool for class taking into account the concepts seen in class. Final Project Presentation : From November 12 th to 19 th The students will perform a presentation using the final roulette design, the cases in it and the beforehand information given.
