What’s Cancer: Cancer is a class of diseases characterized by out-of-control cell growth. Cancer Treatment: 1-Surgery 2-Radiation 3-Chemo-Therapy 4-Bone narrow transplants Kids Cancer Cancer takes a child's strength, destroys organs and bones, and weakens the body's defenses against other illnesses. Cancer affects only about 14 of every 100,000 children in the United States each year

Psychological Therapy A questionnaire and interviews were used to study the policies of 219 physicians about "telling" cancer patients. Ninety per cent indicated a preference for not telling them. The hospital received more than patient after a year from it’s opening

Getting started Getting information about the topic and gathering together Sessions Gaining skills we needed, building the team unity and getting two sessions about the psychological therapy Researches Making researches about cancer and it’s effect on kids

The hospital was an idea for Dr-Sherif Abu-Elnaga, and it was first opened in 7/7/2007 Interaction with Kids It was easy to attract with 8or 9 year old kids their attention or to get them involved in an activity, they had impressive talents, but what was hard to deal with teenagers Impression It wasn't like a hospital it was like visiting a cheerful hotel for kids

Step Forward we wanted to determine our goals clearly this time, to avoid the mistakes of the last time. Chemo-Therapy The first time for us to get in the chemo-therapy room and seeing the chair used for the patients, not all the parents were psychologically prepared. School What was surprising seeing a school in there for the 3 important stages, also the library which contain many school books.

I dea It was an idea to get closer to them, to give a chance for those who didn’t get very involved with us to express them selves freely, and to give a whole new vision throughout our experience, but that was against the hospital’s instruction. Implementation

Flyers To guide the visitors of the hospital how to deal with the patients in a right way. Raising awareness In school among our friends using the positive and the negative awareness In hospital to the parents who aren’t prepared to cope with their children’s illness
