Creating a Layout sheet

Sketching  Key Terms & Definitions  Mechanical Drafting: Drawings are created using mechanical instruments. Layout Sheet: consists of borders and a title block that help identify boundaries and information about the item that is drawn. Title Block: located at the bottom of the sheet, contains data about the drawing and its drafter.

sketching  Layout Sheet  Recommendations are made by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for drawing sheet borders and basic title block data. However, these vary somewhat due to the needs a specific application or industry. The layout sheet consists of borders and a title block. The borders set a boundary for the drawing and the title supplies information about the drawing and its drafter.
