Inputs for Gujarat Weather Watch 08 July 2014 By A tmospheric Sciences Division, Space Applications Centre, ISRO Ahmedabad 1.No major rainfall pockets are seen over Gujarat in INSAT-3D half- hourly rainfall images. 2.Rainfall forecasts by WRF model do not suggest any significant improvement in rainfall activity over Gujarat in next 2-3 days. [Images attached] 3.Seasonal Forecast Model suggests that monsoon may revive over Gujarat after 15 July. 4.More information about other satellite derived meteorological parameters, AWS observations and weather forecast by WRF model are available at our website :
