Cell Membrane State Border State border surrounds the state like a cell membrane surrounds the cell.

Cytoplasm The Air The air is the part that surrounds cities and buildings, like the cytoplasm surrounds the organelles.

Nucleus The Governor The governor, Rick Snyder, is the one with most power and helps the state with major decisions, the nucleus is the control center for the cell.

Endoplasmic Reticulum The State Highways The state highways let you get from place to place around the state, the endoplasmic reticulum transports materials around the cell.

Ribosomes Car Manufacturing Industry A car manufacturing building makes cars for the state, ribosomes make/produce protein for the cell.

Nucleolus Capital building The capitol building contains all information for the state, the nucleolus contains all DNA for the cell.

Mitochondria Power Plant Power Plants supply energy for the nearby areas for people, the mitochondria is the energy generator of the cell.

Golgi Body UPS UPS is a postal system that packages and sends things to people, the golgi body packages proteins for distribution to the cell.

Vacuole Self-Storage Building Self-storage buildings are places where people can store some of their important belongings, the vacuole is a storage for materials in the cell.
