I’ve been to California in California is a state on west coast of the U.S. Its nickname is The Golden State. The largest city in California is Los Angeles and the second one is San Diego. Its capital is Sacramento. California is the 3 rd largest state (after Alaska and Texas) in the U.S. The Academy Awards (or The Oscars) is an annual American awards ceremony honoring cinematic achievements in the film industry. In 1929, the first Academy Awards were presented at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. From 2002, the Dolby Theatre (previously called the Kodak Theatre) in Los Angeles became the venue. The 87 th Academy Awards ceremony hold on Feb. 22, 2015.

Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in Los Angeles. Jurassic Park – The Ride is a very famous river adventure and people love to go. It’s a water based fun ride. The boat will move within a small lake by seeing different dinosaurs then move behind a waterfall. The trip is ended as come face-to- face a “living” dinosaur, a 50-foot T-Rex and a big drop straight down. How scaring it is.

California Disneyland Resort is a magical kingdom where you can sail with pirates and meet fairy-tale princesses. Disneyland fireworks shows with Disney songs from Sleeping Beauty Castle is unforgettable. Jedi Training Academy is an interactive stage show where children are chosen as Jedi padawans (used as anyone that is learning) and taught how to use a lightsaber. Junior Jedi knights learn to use the Force and battle skills to defend themselves against the Dark Side, Darth Vader and Darth Maul!

LEGOLAND California Resort is in Carlsbad (northern San Diego). It is a whole park dedicated to LEGOs. Water Park is one of the only two LEGOLAND water parks (the other one is LEGOLAND Florida). People can customize their own raft made of soft LEGO bricks before floating down a lazy river. MINILAND attraction are favorite buildings all made entirely out of LEGO bricks.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood is a wax museum in Hollywood. It presents many favorite movie stars' and other wax figures. Tom Hanks is an American actor and filmmaker. He is known for his roles in “Forrest Gump” & “APOLLO 13” (in Chinese 阿甘 正傳 & 阿波羅 13 號 ). Johnny Depp is an American actor, producer, and musician. Two famous movies he presents that kids loving are “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” ( 巧克力冒險工廠 ) and “Pirates of the Caribbean” ( 神鬼奇航 ). Do you think where in California is with the most of fun?
