After the First World War, she changed alot and became more tolerant and warmhearted.

Downton Abbey Lady Sybil Crawley Sybil is the youngest daughter.She is a very responsible person. She is different from her sisters, for she devoted her life to movement for women's rights instead of making up and attending parties. She aspires independence and equality. So, she has a lot of disagreements with the old noble family. She died in the third season.

Downton Abbey Violet, Countess of Grantham Violet is a lovely old lady, she has a typical English humor. She has received fine education, with elegant appearance and a heart with mercy. As a lord, she resists social changes.

Downton Abbey Matthew Crawley Matthew is a former lawyer in Manchester. He is handsome and independent. As amember from middle class in Britain, he has a lot of different opinions with the noble family at first. Then he has a romantic relationship with lady Mary. He died in the third season.
