Hi Kids! I’m Scuba Sue! Do you want to learn about some cool sea creatures? Yes!

We have learned about all kinds of fish in the sea, but I want to take you further into the ocean life.

Let’s take a dive deep into the ocean waters to discover this creature!

My favorite type of mammal is a dolphin. Let me tell you more!

I want to teach you about the Heaviside Dolphin.

Another name for a Heaviside Dolphin is the South African Dolphin.

This type of dolphin lives off the coast of Africa usually.

Heaviside dolphins are known to be ‘shy’ creatures.

Heaviside dolphins eat both fish and squid.

A Heaviside dolphin is dark gray on most of its body, a black tail, and a white belly.

Another name for a black dolphin is a Chilean dolphin.

Black dolphins like to eat green algae along with fish.

Black dolphins are found in shallow waters in South America.

The way black dolphins look are similar to their name. They look black, but are actually a dark gray.

Black dolphins have white markings on their forehead, throat, lips, and behind their flippers.

Commerson dolphins like to eat fish, but they also like to eat octopus!

Commerson dolphins can be found in the Southern tip of South America, and around Kerguelen Islands.

Another name for a Commerson dolphin is a skunk dolphin.

Why would they refer to a dolphin as a skunk? Click the next button to see why!

Well that is because a Commerson dolphin is black and white. Their colors are similar to that of a skunk.

Bottlenose dolphins are warm-blooded.

Bottlenose dolphins can stay under water for up to 15 minutes!

Bottlenose dolphins eat fish, squid, and sometimes animals like shrimp.

Bottlenose dolphins can be found in warm waters. This means they like the ‘tropical’ areas of the world.

An example of where Bottlenose dolphins can be found is in waters surrounding Florida, and Texas.

A Bottlenose dolphin is a gray color all over their body.
