Getting out of the pit! Thinking skills are critical and the process of developing the process of thinking to resolve a problem is called ‘getting out of the pit’. The question should challenge and demand everything from your processes. With collaboration and support you and your colleagues can pull you out of the pit……………….
How does it work? Don’t pull them out, help them get themselves out of the pit………… Show them the techniques, model an example and leave the next step for them to develop….. At the end the skills are there, but permanently, they have developed you, they have developed those that help you and they create a really powerful learning environment
