responsive to needs of the members «Go to body» for the members-seeking advice on good practices Respond to the capacity development needs based on evidence and analysis
Advocate for individual members –e.g, promote independence, encourage donor support Practice high standards of transparency, accountability and governance Focus on adding value, cost effectiveness of the service they provide
Based on Good strategic planning and sustainable financial as well as human resource management Represent the region in the international communities and bring back good practices to the members Encourage knowledge sharing through for example, facilitating cooperative and/or parallel audit
Coordinate/conduct research on key regional issues, e.g., ISSAI implementation progress Strong focus on communication with the SAI members, e.g., Secretariat Staff to visit individual SAIs as well as using website and other social media Inclusive, find ways to support weakest and poorest SAIs
Promoting good governance and ethics of SAIs Make the global local and avoid duplication cover the breadth of SAI staff needs e.g., leadership, corporate services as well as technical audit issues
