4 MyFloridaMarketPlace Agency Benchmarking Activity ABA activity is intended to provide agencies information and feedback from MyFloridaMarketPlace on their purchasing and invoicing activity Today’s discussion is on purchasing activity only Purchasing Directors have indicated to State Purchasing that they would like an information sharing session so that where an agency who is “red” in a category they can learn from an agency that is “green” (i.e.: what they do to maintain the green rating) TOPIC: Share information on internal processes that lead to a green rating GOAL: Allow agencies to take away recommendations for process improvement

11 Bureau B Contract Updates Contract Renewal: –Paper: Office, Virgin and Recycled Content: includes 7% - 16% increase in cost for the new term. This is at or below the increases we see in the market and in other states. –Camper Insurance renewed March 15 th –Extension on PBX and Key Systems Contracts – Purchase of services vs. equipment. Will be replaced by new Telephony ITN. Contract Renewal in Process: –Fine Arts Insurance (indoor, i.e. paintings) April 1 st Solicitations in Development: –Phase 2, IT Hardware: Network Infrastructure Combines Servers/Mainframes with Connectivity in a single phase –Managed Travel Services

13 Bureau B Hot Topic PCs Laptops and Monitors Currently in a Contract Dispute with Dell Frequent Questions: –RFQ Process is not mandatory. The summary and section 5.10 both state the RFQ MAY be used provides instructions if the agency elects to solicit quotes from multiple manufacturers. –There are no authorized Resellers: Sales Agents may provide assistance at the time of purchase. No companies have yet named subcontractors or sales agents. Sales agents and subcontractors fees or commissions will be reported quarterly.
